Where are you living?

At the moment I’m living between London and Tel Aviv, going back and forth a lot because my partner lives in London.

Tell us about yourself?

I grew up in a small town in Israel and I always had a passion for travelling and exploring new places. When I graduated from my BA I moved to France and fell in love with the expat lifestyle. I then started my MA in England and been living between Israel and London since.

What is your favourite thing about Tel Aviv?

Tel Aviv is great because of the friendly locals, the stunning beaches, and the incredible food.

What is your favourite thing to do in Tel Aviv with a day off?

In Tel Aviv, we love chilling on the beach on a nice hot summer day, and boy, it’s often hot here. Also, the Tel Avian nightlife doesn’t disappoint as it’s very much the culture here to go out and hang out with friends.

What in your opinion is the one thing you can’t miss when you visit Tel Aviv?

You can’t miss the view of Tel Aviv’s coastline from the Old City of Jaffa. Another thing is the local foods; Definitely try out Hummus, Shawarma and Shakshuka.

Any top tips on where to go/ what to do on a rainy day?

The best time to visit Tel Aviv is during the summer and even though it’s not raining that often if you happen to visit Tel Aviv on a rainy day it’s better to visit some of the best restaurants in town or visit the local bars.

Where is your go-to restaurant?

A great luxury restaurant is Messa for the tasty food, great presentation and good atmosphere. Another good option is to go to Sarona Market which is an international food market with a big variety of options.

And where do you suggest going for a drink in the evening?

Rotschild Boulevard is my favourite neighbourhood to go out to. It’s very lively with so many great bars like Social Club, Zoo Zoo and Jimmy Who, as well as places for a late-night snack like the chef burger stall Susu and Sons or Japanika for a great sushi.
